Nawar is the Arabic word for flowers in bloom, and the ring is built as a full flower: a wide top of rounded petals with a raised bloom standing at the exact centre. The petals of the bloom alternate in finish, one scored with fine vertical diamond cuts that catch light in straight, bright lines, the next worked in jaali, an open pattern of small holes and dots that lets light pass through. The mix of bright cut lines and open mesh gives the top contrast and depth. The shank is a band of cutwork, so the open design continues around the finger. This 18KT gold ring is an Arabic gold ring with a bold floral face.
